QUITEL 2016 is approaching. Although November may seem far away,
preparation of the conference is gaining momentum. We look forward to
receive hundreds of theoretical and computational chemists, physicists and
biologists who are working in so many exciting new developments and
applications. In this letter we want to remember you some of the important
aspects related to the conference.

120 additional talks and more than 200 posters are expected to be presented
during the conference.

*Scientific Program*

Seven 1-hour plenary lectures will take place from Sunday 20th to Friday 25
th. After them, from Monday to Friday, there will be three simultaneous
sessions, which will start by 45’ keynote lectures and proceed with
contributed and oral presentations (30 and 15 minutes respectively) until
lunch break (one coffee break will also be held at mid-morning). A buffet
lunch will be provided at the premises, which cost is included in the
registration fee. More oral and sponsor lectures will be held after lunch
until 14:30, at which time there will be a larger break until 19:00. During
this break, students will have the opportunity to take one of
four 16-hour/week courses (previous inscription is required). People not
attending the courses will have free time for sightseeing or scientific
meetings. Poster sessions will be held from 19:00 on. Cheese, fruits, wine
and beer will be available for the participants in these night sessions.

*Social Program*

A welcome cocktail will be offered Sunday evening, after the first two
Plenary Lectures. Recreational and sightseeing activities will be available
for participants during the afternoon breaks. Cultural activities will be
available after the poster sessions. “Young nights” are been planned for
people with young bodies and/or souls. Tango lessons will be offered every
night for people who want to learn or perfect their knowledge of this Rio
de la Plata typical dance. Other musical shows are also been planned. The
final program will be communicated in the next months. A gala dinner will
be held on the night of Friday 25th. This is the only activity not included
in the registration fee.

*Other academic activities*

A meeting of the participants will be held on Friday afternoon to confirm
the place of the next edition of Quitel. A meeting of the Scientific and
Organizing Committees will also decide on the prizes to be awarded during
the gala dinner. A special award to the academic life achievements of a
scientist of our community will be conferred. Also a first prize and
special mentions will be awarded to the best posters presented in the
conference. Oral communications and posters will have individual pages in
the web site, where discussion of these works may be developed. Oral
presentations will be filmed and made available also in these pages. A
special number of the Journal of Molecular Modelling will be dedicated to
the conference where refereed papers will be published.

*Important data*

Preregistration is necessary to obtain a username and password to access
non-public sections of the web site (for instance, videos of
presentations). To obtain such username and password you must proceed to

in to the site (LOGIN at the upper right corner of the pages in the site).
Registration will not be final until payment has been received. To pay the
