Dear Colleague,

The 12th International Workshop on Nonlinear Dynamics of Electronic Systems 
will be held on May 9-13, 2004, in the Unesco world heritage city of Évora, 
Portugal:    http://www.cge.uevora.pt/ndes2004     

On behalf of the organizing committees and sponsors, we cordially invite you 
to join us for what promises to be another stimulating gathering of experts 
in the field of Nonlinear Sciences, like the preceding 11 workshops. 

The advantageous use of nonlinear dynamics in electronic circuit and system 
design is fascinating scientists and engineers alike. 
This workshop gives the opportunity to communicate new insights in nonlinear 
dynamic systems ranging from a mathematical point of view to a circuit design 
point of view. Moreover, the workshop covers not only the field of nonlinear 
dynamic electronic systems, but also other fields in Nonlinear Sciences.

Fields of interest are: 
(i)   Circuit Systems 
(ii)  Chaos, Stability and Control 
(iii) Non Linear Time Series Analysis 
(iv)  Chaos in Earth Sciences 
(v)   Econophysics and Econometrics 
(vi)  Biological Systems and Synchronization 

Confirmed keynote speakers so far are:
     Alexander Sharkovsky, Kiev,
     Herrmann Haken, Stuttgart,
     Rui Vilela Mendes, Lisbon.

Authors are kindly invited to submit a full paper manuscript (maximum of 
4 pages), which will be reviewed by an international team of reviewers, 
and in case of acceptance published in the proceedings of the workshop,
if presented during the event.
