Quisiera compartir con ustedes una gran noticia:<br>

El Profesor Juan Pablo Paz ha sido seleccionado por Quantum 100, una <br>
iniciativa de la UNESCO como parte del Año Internacional de la Ciencia y <br>
la Tecnología Cuántica, que distinge a 100 personalidades influyentes en <br>
la mecánica cuántica alrededor del mundo:<br>

En palabras de la UNESCO:<br>
<br>
"Bridging foundational quantum physics with practical public engagement <br>
has defined the career of Professor Juan Pablo Paz, whose work spans <br>
theoretical breakthroughs, community building, and science policy <br>
leadership. Paz's research addresses concepts essential for developing <br>
reliable quantum technologies. He co-authored the Hu-Paz-Zhang master <br>
equation, a foundational result in quantum theory, he played a leading <br>
role in the characterization of the process of decoherence, which is <br>
essential to understand the transition from quantum to classical <br>
behavior and was among the co-discoverers of the first perfect <br>
five-qubit quantum error correction code. He has also been instrumental <br>
in building Argentina's quantum ecosystem. He played a leading role in <br>
establishing two experimental laboratories at Buenos Aires which are now <br>
among Argentina's most active quantum research facilities. He has made <br>
quantum science accessible through Spanish-language publications for <br>
both the general public and university students.<br>
