de Física del Plasma renovó sus autoridades,
Pablo Mininni y Adriana Márquez son los nuevos
director y vicedirectora. Con el cambio de
nombre fue posible ampliar las incumbencias
temáticas del nuevo instituto, así como
mantener las líneas de investigación
tradicionales en física del plasma, ricas en
aplicaciones. <br style="box-sizing:
border-box;">
El nuevo instituto también potenciará sus
líneas interdisciplinarias con la
incorporación del Laboratorio de Sistemas
Dinámicos, el Laboratorio de Conciencia,
Cultura y complejidad, el Grupo de Fluidos,
Plasmas y Materia blanda y el Grupo de Física
Social. <br style="box-sizing: border-box;">
El Departamento de Física celebra estos
cambios, los logros obtenidos a lo largo de
muchos años de gestión son el resultado del
arduo trabajo y compromiso de todos los
involucrados. <br style="box-sizing:
border-box;">
De este modo, la coexistencia de los dos
institutos -INFINA e IFIBA- de UBA-Conicet
cubren una muy amplia propuesta de
investigación en Física para enfrentar los
desafíos científicos y tecnológicos del siglo

LAMBDA cumplió su primer año<br>
</b><br>
El <span style="box-sizing: border-box;">Laboratorio
Argentino de Mediciones de Bajo umbral de
Detección y sus Aplicaciones</span>,
liderado por Dario Rodrigues y Javier
Tiffenberg realiza investigaciones con la
nueva tecnología Skipper-CCD, que puede contar
electrones literalmente de a uno en un amplio
rango dinámico. El grupo lleva a cabo
experimentos en diversos entornos, como
laboratorios, minas subterráneas y reactores
nucleares, con el objetivo de contribuir a la
óptica cuántica, la investigación de la
materia oscura y la física de neutrinos. <br>

instalar un equipo en el Departamento de
Física en el marco del programa de Facilidades
Estratégicas de Interés Interinstitucional del
MINCyT, por un monto total nominal de USD
1.450.000. Se trata de una facilidad
criogénica para la caracterización de
propiedades físicas y experimentos con
múltiples técnicas, equipo que no existe hoy
en el país y que permite medir distintas
propiedades en un rango amplio de temperaturas
y campos magnéticos.La colaboración
interinstitucional es valiosa porque permite
aprovechar los recursos y conocimientos de
diferentes organizaciones, evitando
duplicaciones innecesarias y promoviendo la
eficiencia en la consecución de objetivos
