X EFOMP CONGRESS- FIRST EUROPEAN CONFERENCE of MEDICAL PHYSICS  - CALL for ABSTRACTS

The European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP) is currently representing a community of more than 6000 medical physicists in Europe (www.efomp.org). Every second year EFOMP is organizing together with a host national society of Medical Physics its Biennial Congress. In 2007 the Xth EFOMP congress will be organized in conjunction with the Italian Association of Medical Physics (AIFM) in the beautiful international resort "Il Ciocco" in the vicinity of Pisa, Italy < http://efomp-2007.df.unipi.it/>. The event is scheduled 20-22 September 2007, when the Tuscany climate is at its best for enjoying the landscape and the countryside of the Garfagnana hills and mountains. 

CALL for ABSTRACTS - AbstractsSubmission
The submission of abstracts for the Xth EFOMP Congress is now open.

All Abstracts will be required to be submitted electronically via the conference abstract submission website . 
This site will remain open for submission until 1 June 2007 at 24:00, Rome time.

Please, be aware of the following recommendations:
Before the first submission, if you are a new user, please register first following the instructions given on the web page.
Indicate whether you desire an oral presentation or a poster presentation. Conference oral presentations are exclusively electronic (no slides or overheads).
· The length of the abstract text should not exceed 2000 characters. 

· A Summary describing the important features of the paper must be submitted electronically The Summary has no predetermined layout, but must be a PDF document having a maximum length of two pages including figures and tables. Since the summary will be the basis for paper selection, care should be taken in its preparation such that it properly describes the relevance and important conclusions of the work.

· All abstracts and summaries received will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Those abstracts and summaries accepted will be sorted between oral and poster presentations per author request and assigned a location within the Conference schedule. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to determine the paper's placement in the program.

· As an aid to the Scientific Committee, please indicate which conference topic from the list of topics most closely represents the subject area of the paper.

· Authors encountering questions or problems in submitting their abstracts should contact the program committee.
