We are looking to hire two postdocs, one with expertise in the
analysis and modelling of complex networks, the other to study jamming
in granular materials, colloids and emulsions.  The candidate in
complex networks should have solid experience in programming in
C/C++/Fortran.  Especially welcomed is the physics background with
strong interests in biological networks, such as protein interaction,
genome-wide metabolism, and/or genetic regulation. The successful
candidate will have an opportunity to work in a collaborative effort
with the group of Dr. Piano and Dr. Gunsalus from the NYU Center for
Comparative Functional Genomics.

The work on jamming focuses on the understanding of out-of-equilibrium
systems with particular interests in granular materials, colloids and
glasses.  The research projects involve theory/computer simulations
and experiments on the above-mentioned systems. See
