En Harvard Medical International estamos organizando un curso de Stem 
Cells en Buenos Aires en donde participaran varios de los investigadores 
que estan liderando este tipo de investigaciones en EEUU. Tambien 
participan investigadores de America Latina. Creo que es una excelente 
oportunidad para que los investigadores argentinos tengan un espacio 
para que interaccionen con sus pares de otros paises.
Habra un curso con tres actividades de laboratorio para un maximo de 25 
jovenes investigadores y Seminarios abiertos a toda la comunidad 
cientifica. Todas las actividades se realizaran en la Fundacion 
Instituto Leloir.
 
Te pido si por favor podes darle difusion entre tus colegas (nos 
gustaria incluir chicos de Fisica con interes en ciencias biologicas) y 
alientes a los jovenes finsicos a inscribirse en el curso. Nosotros nos 
encargamos de TODOS los gastos de los inscriptos que sean seleccionados 
siempre que estos provengan de universidades publicas y centros 
dependientes del CONICET y organismos similares. Tambien esperamos que 
haya muchos inscriptos del interior del pais.

    *Dear Colleague:*

    Harvard Medical International, Fundacion Instituto Leloir, and
    Fundacion Crimson have developed a series of innovative training
    programs in the Biomedical Sciences field. Today, **we are inviting
    you to participate** in our Program for the Advancement of
    Biomedical Sciences Education in Latin America (**PABSELA**). The
    first training course will focus on **Stem Cell Research** and will
    be held at Fundacion Instituto Leloir, Buenos Aires, Argentina
    between 28 May and 10 June 2007.

    **PABSELA-SCRT07** is a 15-day intensive lecture and laboratory
    course on stem cell biology for 20-25 young investigators (graduate
    students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty/scientists) in
    the biomedical sciences from Latin American countries.

    Lectures will provide the conceptual basis for contemporary research
    in identification, isolation, and differentiation of embryonic and
    adult stem cells, while the laboratories will provide extensive
    hands-on training in up-to-date techniques essential for stem cell
    research.

    In parallel to the SCRT07 course, there will be a series of
    **Seminars** open to the entire scientific community where selected
    investigators from the Americas will convey their latest advances in
    the field.
