Abstract:
We will describe recent studies we have done on the structure
and kinematics of compact groups and fossil clusters and we will discuss
the possible link between these two kinds of systems. We will also
describe our plans to build a new Fabry-Perot/Tunable filter instrument
to be mounted on the SOAR Adaptive Module visitor's port, which will
yieldvery high spatial resolution 3D images to be taken.
