Subject: POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS to study the biophysics of
microtubule motor proteins
POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS are now available at the University of Pennsylvania
to study the biophysics of microtubule motor proteins and/or
microtubule plus end dynamics using single molecule approaches. A
Ph.D. in cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics, biological chemistry,
physics, or molecular biology is preferred. The funded position is part
of a collaborative project between the laboratories of Dr. Erika
Holzbaur and Dr. Yale E. Goldman, in the Dept. of Physiology in the
School of Medicine and Pennsylvania Muscle Institute. The research
involves the use of single molecule approaches both in vitro and in
vivo to examine microtubule motor function and microtubule plus end
dynamics in molecular detail.
Please send your curriculum vitae and a list of three

Pennsylvania School of Medicine, D400 Richards Building, 3700 Hamilton
