The talk is about simulations of finite-temperature superfluids, using
the Truncated Gross-Pitaevskii Equation (TGPE). First, we will recall
the thermalization that is known to take place in the truncated Euler
equation for incompressible fluids. The statistical equilibria of the
(conservative) TGPE dynamics will then be characterized using an
algorithm based on a stochastically forced Ginzburg-Landau equation
(SGLE) that directly generates grand canonical distributions. A
standard finite-temperature second-order $\lambda$-transition will be
exhibited. A new turbulent mechanism of TGPE thermalization at small
scales through a direct cascade of energy will be demonstrated.
Dynamical counter-flow effects on vortex evolution will be
investigated using SGLE-preparated initial data and a dilatation of
vortex rings will be obtained for counter flows larger than their
longitudinal velocity.

These two very different approaches to analysing data are described
and contrasted, using examples both from every-day life and from the
world of Physics. Their interpretations of 'probability' are
contrasted. When used for determining parameters of a theory, cases
where the resulting answers differ significantly are described.
Finally, a summary is given of the differences between the Bayesian
and Frequentist approaches.

A brief history of important events in non accelerator neutrino
physics will be given with emphasis on neutrino astrophysics. The
status of our understanding of neutrino properties will be discussed,
and one present effort to use a search for zero-neutrino double-beta
decay to answer the open questions will be described. The example
given will be the CUORE Experiment in the Laboratori Nazionali del
Gran Sasso, in Assergi, Italy.
