TITULO: Stein method and Cramer theorem for normal and Gamma random varibles
LUGAR: Instituto de Cálculo, 2do piso, Pabellón 2.

RESUMEN: The Stein method is related to the following problem: Given a
random  variable F, how to measure the distance between its law and
the standard normal law N(0,1). We will discuss some recents results
in this direction, which are based also on the Malliavin calculus. We
will also  present an application to Cramer theorem. Cram\'er's
theorem (Cram\`er 1936) says that the sum of two independent random
variables is Gaussian if and only if each summand is Gaussian.
