Subject: Summer school on storage devices and ion traps

Dear colleague.

A summer school on storage devices and ion traps will take place June 14-19, 2011 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The school is intended for graduate students, post docs who work with or are interested in knowing more about these devices, but is open to the general scientific public. Lectures will treat devices design, operation and experiments on atoms, molecules, clusters and biomolecules. The school includes problem solving classes for students and presentations of solutions to emphazise the learning aspect of the school. Diplomas will be issued to participants upon request.

There is no school fee. Registration by email to Klavs.Hansen en physics.gu.se before May 30.

The shool is timed to allow visitors to enjoy the Swedish midsummer celebration on the 24 of June.
