Hola: El jueves 16 de agosto a las 15 hs, en el aula E 24 del Pabellón I,
expondrá en el Coloquio del Departamento de Matemática el
Profesor D. Cordero-Erausquin de la univ. de París 6 (Francia).

Título: Asymmetric Brascamp-Lieb inequalities for log-concave distributions.

Resumen: The Brascamp-Lieb inequality discussed in this talk is a Poincaré
type inequality for the variance of a function with respect to a
log-concave measure. It has strong connections with the Brunn-Minkowski
inequality and with the Hörmander L^2 method. We present extensions of
this inequality, which allows to bound  the covariance of two functions,
where we replace the $L^2$ norm of gradients by $L^p$-$L^q$ norms.
