*The* X Latin American Workshop on Magnetism, Magnetic Materials and their
Applications (LAW3M 2013)* will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from
Monday, April 8th to Friday, April 12th, 2012. Members of the international
scientific and engineering communities interested in recent developments in
magnetism and associated technologies are invited to attend the Conference
and contribute to its technical sessions. The venue will be the Facultad de
Derecho (Universidad de Buenos Aires)  located in Recoleta, a historic
district of Buenos Aires, close to downtown. Several interesting places to
visit are located within walking distance from the conference site.

English is the official language of the conference. **

Local currency is Argentinean peso ($), which is worth about 0.21 US dollars


The submitted *papers*, reporting original work and meeting recognized
scientific standards, will be published in a special (but consecutively
numbered ) issue of the IEEE- Transaction on Magnetics. Only *ONE* paper
per registered author will be published.

Participants are invited to submit abstracts electronically following
instructions on the website, that will be posted in due course.



*Registration and Fees: *All scientists attending sessions and accompanying
guests must pay the registration fee to help covering the conference costs.

On-site registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8th.





*Meeting Format: *Oral and poster sessions will be held in the Facultad de
Derecho from Monday to Friday.





*Hotel Accommodation: *Assistance will be provided by the meeting
organizers in arranging room-mates for students and other meeting attendees
who may be interested in sharing the cost of a hotel room. Please, contact
the meeting secretariat if such assistance is required.
