[LT27 Conference]

27th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON LOW TEMPERATURE PHYSICS - Buenos Aires, 6 - 13 August 2014 
 
The Low Temperature (LT) Physics Conference is an international event held every three years, under the auspices of the IUPAP through its Commission
C5 on Low Temperature Physics. LT Conferences aim at the exchange of information and views among the members of the international  scientific
community promoting the excellence of invited and contributed presentations.  
 
DATES and VENUE
 
 
The LT27 Conference will take place from Wednesday 6th to Wednesday 13th August 2014 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The venue of the Congress will be the
Palais Rouge  Conference Center located in the Palermo Soho neighborhood. 
 
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
The daily schedule of the conference includes plenary and half-plenary talks in the morning, five parallel sessions during late morning and early
afternoon, and poster sessions in the late afternoon. The parallel sessions will correspond to the following topical areas: 1) Quantum gases, fluids
and solids, 2) Superconductivity, 3) Cryogenic techniques and applications, 4) Magnetism and quantum phases, and 5) Electronic quantum transport in

Contributed talks of 20 min will be selected among participants.
  
PROCEEDINGS
Thank to an agreement with IOP Publishing, the proceedings of the conference will be peer reviewed and published online as a volume of Journal of
Physics: Conference Series. 

REGISTRATION
Registration will be open online from February 1st to April 1st 2014.
 
All registrations should be done through our web site, and payment by credit card or bank transfer before May 1st 2014, or in cash in USD upon arrival
at the conference.
 
Conference fees (including conference material, reception, and coffee breaks) will be USD 600 for regular participants and USD 300 for students, up to
May 1st. 
 
Limited funding for financial assistance for students and participants from developing countries will be available.
 
Participants needing visas should start the procedure three months in advance. The Organizers will provide  invitation letters upon request.
