Dear colleague,

We have two openings for post-doctoral positions in the group of
Theoretical Mesoscopic
Physics (Rodolfo Jalabert, Guillaume Weick, and Dietmar Weinmann) at the
Institut de
Physique et Chimie des Matériaux de Strasbourg (Université de Strasbourg &
CNRS). The
positions are for two years each, beginning between October 2014 and
October 2015. We
are looking for candidates with a PhD in Theoretical Condensed Matter
Physics, preferably
with a focus on mesoscopic physics.

The first opening is to perform work in the domain of quantum transport and
aims at
theoretical aspects of Scanning Gate Microscopy in ballistic nanostructures.

The second opening concerns the theory of quantum nanoplasmonic systems and
metamaterials.
