Post-Doctoral Position at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis

A post-doctoral position is available to study spike timing-dependent plasticity in an adult rat model of cervical spinal cord injury. Data from these studies will be verified in humans with SCI. The overall goal is to develop novel clinical approaches to restore upper-limb function after incomplete cervical SCI. Experience with intracortical microsimulation in animals is a plus, but not essential.
