We are looking for a skilled programmer with experience in C++/python who
is interested and has experience with data science, machine learning and/or
statistics to work on a project in the area of immune repertoire sequencing
analysis. The project aims to develop a software based on a statistical
framework for immune repertoire analysis. This 18 month fixed term position
includes software development from an algorithmic prototype written in C++ (
https://github.com/qmarcou/IGoR) into a user-friendly platform that
interfaces easily with many public databases. The programmer will work in a
small group with Aleksandra Walczak and Thierry Mora in the physics
department at the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris and will be solely
responsible for code development. The exact salary will depend on the
experience of the programmer and is determined by CNRS standards.
Applications with Master degrees or higher in (bio)informatics, computer
science or similar field preferred but all applications will be considered.
Researchers interested in post-doctoral positions are also encouraged.
