*Giorgio Torrieri* (State University of Campinas)

*Relativistic hydrodynamics: Why, how, and why so small?*
I will introduce relativistic hydrodynamics as an effective field theory
and in parallel explain how observing fluid-like behavior led to a
renaissance in the study of relativistic fluids. I will outline which
theories give rise to hydrodynamics, and how the most recent data from the
LHC challenges our understanding of these issues.
