Today 28/04/2015, 14 hs, we have the seminar of Tommy Ohlsson,
"Non-Standard Neutrino Interactions", as part of the visitor's
seminars of the ``Theoretical Nuclear and Particle Physics Group´´
(TNPP group). We want to emphasise that everyone is welcome.<br>

The next visitor to the TNPP group, in May, is German A.
Gomez-Vargas (Santiago de Chile & Roma), member of the FERMI-Lat
collaboration. His seminar (to be confirmed) is going to be
announced in May and is going to take place in the df, FCEyN,
UBA-IFIBA, Pabellon I, second floor, seminars room, 12/05/2014, 14

Abstract: The phenomenon of neutrino oscillations has been
established as the leading mechanism behind neutrino flavor
transitions, providing solid experimental evidence that neutrinos
are massive and lepton flavors are mixed. Here we review
sub-leading effects in neutrino flavor transitions known as
non-standard neutrino interactions (NSIs), which is currently the
most explored description for effects beyond the standard paradigm
of neutrino oscillations. In particular, we report on the
phenomenology of NSIs and their experimental and phenomenological
bounds as well as an outlook for future sensitivity and discovery
reach. </div>
