Para nosotros vale la pena cada charla en el pasillo, en el aula, en el labo o en la biblio, para que todos podamos estar informados y participar. Nosotros participamos activamente, pero también se sumaron muchos estudiantes independientes, otras agrupaciones, e incluso muchos docentes, investigadores y no docentes. Al día siguiente de colgar la bandera, el Rector Barbieri tuvo que asignar </span><strong style="background-color: transparent;color: #000000;font-family: arial;font-size: 14.666666666666666px;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;font-weight: bold;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline">$15 millones</strong><span style="background-color: transparent;color: #000000;font-family: arial;font-size: 14.666666666666666px;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;font-weight: normal;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline">, provenientes del Estado, para los gastos de funcionamiento de todas las Facultades. Porque sigue faltando presupuesto en Exactas para arreglar los baños, para los ascensores, para los departamentos, para más y mejores becas. Y porque la UBA la siguen gobernando Barbieri, Yacobitti y sus aliados, todos denunciados por corrupción, todos impulsores de la mercantilización de nuestra educación. Estos personajes administran el 70% del presupuesto de gastos de funcionamiento de la UBA y pretenden que cada Facultad se financie con lo que pueda vender: posgrados pagos, convenios con multinacionales y privatización de espacios. </span></p> <p dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.2;margin-top: 0pt;margin-bottom: 0pt"><strong style="background-color: transparent;color: #000000;font-family: arial;font-size: 14.666666666666666px;font-style: normal;font-variant: normal;font-weight: bold;text-decoration: none;vertical-align: baseline">Con este nuevo CECEN que involucra cada vez a más y más estudiantes pudimos poner Exactas de pie y defender la Facultad.
