Its core missions are to support the scientific community, drive innovation-led development, enhance public scientific literacy, and inform public policy on science and technology, while fostering openness, trust, and collaboration within the global scientific community. This report highlights SAST's overall operations and its major achievements in international science and technology cooperation.</div><br><div><div><strong>Dr. Peng Jiang: "</strong>Astronomy at Dome A, Antarctica"</div><div><strong>Resumen:</strong> Various site-testing campaigns across sites on the Antarctic plateau have confirmed their exceptional astronomical observing capabilities. Among them, Dome A (80.42°S, 77.12°E), the highest point of the Antarctic ice sheet at an altitude of 4,093 m, is characterized by its large fraction of clear sky, substantial atmospheric transmission in the terahertz and far-infrared band, and superb atmospheric seeing conditions. It has been widely recognized as one of the premier observatory sites on Earth. Since 2008, astronomers have persevered in enhancing facilities and conducting observations at Dome A, despite formidable challenges posed by logistical inaccessibility to this site and engineering issues resulting from the extremely low site temperatures. The scientific outcomes from the time-domain surveys in polar nights are very encouraging for future astronomical research in Antarctica.</div><br><div><div><strong>Prof. Chenggang Shu: </strong>"Astronomy in Shanghai Normal University: Science, Facility and International Collaborations"</div><div>Resumen: For future collaboration, I will introduce the astronomy team at Shanghai Normal University, covering our main research areas, facilities and related activities, funding status, and graduate programs.
