Dear colleges and friends:

This is the second call for papers for the 7th edition of Neural Coding 
Meeting. This time it will be in honor of Jose Segundo’s scientific 
career and will be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, next November (7 to 12).

You will find in the web page (http://www.neuralcoding2007.edu.uy) most 
details of the meeting. Anyway, we want to remark some of them:

1) The registration form is on line. Here you can register and upload 
your abstract (see Deadlines and remember August 1st).

First day ( November 7, Wednesday)

20:00; Welcome Address and toast: Cabildo (historic building)

Second day ( November 8 , Thursday City hall building)
Morning:
09:00; Oral Session (6 lectures of 25’+ 5’ each, plus a coffe brake)
Afternoon:
14:00; Short Oral Session (4 lectures of 25’+ 5’)
16:00. Poster session with cheese and wine.

Third day ( November 9, Friday trip to Punta del Este)
Morning:
10:00; Workshop at Casa Pueblo, Punta del Este.
Lunch: informal discussions
Afternoon:
15:00; Poster session.
Evening: Barbecue

Fourth day (November 10, Saturday City hall building):
Morning:
09:00; Oral Session
Lunch at the Mercado del Puerto: informal discussions
Afternoon:
15:00; Short Oral Session.

Fifth day (November 11, Sunday City hall building)
Morning:
09:00; Oral Session
Afternoon:
14:00; Short Oral Session

Evening: Banquet.

One of the oral sessions will be organized by George Moore and Jay 
Rosenberg "Quantitative analysis of neuronal spike trains, past, present 
and future."

We welcome proposals for two other oral sessions.
