Resumen:
The Hinode space mission was launched in September 2006. The purpose of
the mission is to understand the energy transfer from the photosphere and
below to the corona and beyond. I will describe new results from the
Hinode mission that address the magnetic flux emergence that drives all
solar activity, the impact this has on the atmosphere, the build-up to
solar flares and coronal mass ejections and the formation of the slow and
fast solar wind.
