1. "Current status of the joint-CART project and its potential benefits
to Argentina"

NAOC has been collaborating smoothly and successfully with Argentina
and especially UNSJ since 1989. The joint-CART project was approved by
the Ministry of Science and Technology of China for further
strengthening the ties of astronomical cooperation between China and
Argentina. Here I will present a brief introduction of the joint-CART
project and its various benefits to especially the Argentine
astronomical community.

2. "Multi-wavelength investigations of the formation and early
evolution of stars and clusters"

A brief review of the results of multi-wavelength investigations of the
formation of star and clusters of my research group at NAOC will be
presented with the hope to solicit collaborations in related fields and
to make good use of the joint-CART telescope once bulit in Argentina.
