Aliento a estudiantes graduados y postdocs a
participar en ella, sabiendo que los speakers son mayoritariamente jovenes
graduados y postdocs! Quedo a disposición para saldar cualquier duda o
consulta sobre la actividad,
Saludos!

Dear colleagues,

Following the success of *last year’s debut*
<https://ieeemagnetics.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=305&Itemid=206>,
we are excited to announce that we will be holding the second edition of the
*IEEE Around-the-Clock Around-the-Globe Magnetics Conference* in *August
2021*. We are looking for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers,
who are interested in serving on the Program Committee for this year’s
conference and who represent a global and diverse background.

This conference is conducted virtually in a live format spanning all time
zones over the course of 24 hours and comprised of contributed talks by
graduate students and postdocs. Members of the Program Committee will be
responsible for organizing, planning, and executing the conference from
start to finish, with support from the Advisory Board and Steering
Committee. This is an excellent opportunity for early career researchers to
obtain firsthand experience to organize a conference and network with other
magnetism experts across the globe.

Those interested in serving on the Program Committee should submit a short
application by *25 April 2021*, which includes:

   -

Career stage (graduate student + year; or postdoc), advisor/supervisor,
   and affiliation
   -

   Region (Asia/Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa, or Americas)
   -

Up to three keywords about your research subjects
   -

One paragraph (300 words or less) motivational letter including:
   -

Any ideas you may have to improve the conference
   -

Specialized expertise (*e*.*g.* web design, graphic design,
organizational skills, Zoom or Gather.town familiarity, *etc*.)

Please submit your application (as a text document attachment) or questions
to: *atc-atg en ieeemagnetics.org <atc-atg en ieeemagnetics.org>*

Please share this opportunity with any graduate student or postdoctoral
researcher who might be interested.

Sincerely,

Olga Adanakova (olga.adanakova en urfu.ru), Junior Researcher, Ural Federal
University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin

Patrick Quarterman (patrick.quarterman en nist.gov), Instrument Scientist,
NIST Center for Neutron Research

Yassine Quessab (yq393 en nyu.edu), Postdoctoral Researcher, Center for
Quantum Phenomena, New York University
